recipe of besan ka cheela

Indian cheela with spicy and tangy flavor
Besan ka cheela

Besan ka chilla is very easy and quick dish. You can do it at any time when you want to eat it. Hot and spicy chilla serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney. It become spicy because of green chili and red chili powder. It become colorful because of onion and tomato and coriander leaves. You can also called it besan pan cake.

Ingredients:
1. 1 cup gram / besan flour (chana no lot)
2. 1 medium sized tomato (finely chopped)
3. 1 medium sized onion (finely chopped)
4. 1 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
5. 4 - 5 green chilies (finely chopped)
6. 1 teaspoon ginger - garlic pest
7. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
8. 1 teaspoon chat masala
9. 2 lemon juice 
10. Salt (taste wise)
11. 1 glass of water
12. Oil 

Recipe:
1. Take a bowl, add ginger - garlic pest, tomato, onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, lemon juice, chat masala, salt and red chili powder, Mix it properly. 
2. Add gram / besan flour in it and also add little quantity of water in it. 
3. Mix it properly and make a smooth batter of it. (Note: Put more focus on no lumps in smooth batter)
4. Now keep it aside for 10 minutes.
5. Heat non stick tawa.
6. At medium flame, apply 1 teaspoon oil on tawa, spread batter on heat tawa just like dosa.
7. Cook it till it become light brown.Apply oil on top sides of cheela and turn it. Again cook it for 1 - 2 minutes.
8. When it become crispy transfer it to plate. Serve Hot and spicy cheela with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
