recipe of coconut chutney

Prep time: 5 minutes

Coconut chutney is specially serve with south Indian dishes like Idli, Dhosa, Uttapam, etc. In short, south Indian dish is incomplete without coconut chutney. 

Ingredients:
1. 1 cup chopped coconuts (remove skin)
2. 2 tbsp chana daal
3. 1 cup curd (dahi)
4. 2 green chilies finely chopped
5. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
6. 1/2 cup of water
7. 3 teaspoon Oil
8. Pinch Asafetida Powder (Hing)
9. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
10. 2 dry Red chilies
11. 5 - 6 curry leaves

Recipe:
1. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan, add chana daal in it and roast it till become light brown.
2. Take a mixer bowl, add chopped coconut, roasted chana dal in it and blend it properly.
3. Now, add curd, green chilies, salt and blend it properly.
4. Now, add lemon juice and little water in it and blend it properly.
5. Now, heat 2 teaspoon oil in a pan, add mustard seeds in it when it crackle add pinch asafetida (hing) , curry leaves and dry red chilies in it and saute for few seconds.
6. Now, transfer this seasoning into the coconut chutney and serve it with south Indian dishes.

Tip: Homemade coconut chutney store in refrigerator for a week.

recipe of sweet tamarind chutney

Sweet tamarind chutney


Sweet chutney or tamarind chutney or khajur imli ki chutney is very delicious, tangy and favorite chutney. You can use it with any types of food. You can use it as a dip.


Ingredients:
1. 1 cup dates fruits / khajur (Remove seeds)
2. 1/2 cup tamarind / Imli (soak in a water)
3. 1/2 cup grated jaggery /gur 
4. 2 teaspoon red chili powder
5. 1 teaspoon garam masala
6. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
7. Salt (taste wise)
8. 2 cup water

Recipe:
1. Heat  cup of water in a pan, add dates fruits (khajur), tamarind (imli), jaggery (gur) in it and mix it properly.
2. Cook it for 10 minutes.
3. Now, add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt in it. Again cook it for 5 minutes.
4. Now, its ready. put it in a refrigerator for chill it.

Green chutney with mint flavor

Green chutney is very spicy chutney. It contains garlic, ginger, green  chilies, coriander leaves in it. You can serve this chutney with bhajiya, idali, dabeli, or any types of food. Green chutney is very hot favorite chutney.

Ingredients:
1. 1 cup coriander leaves (chopped)
2. 4 - 5 green chili (chopped)
3. 1/2 inch ginger (chopped)
4. 12 - 13 garlic ( remove skin)
5. 1/2 lemon juice
6. 1 small size onion (chopped)
7. Salt (taste wise)
8. 1 teaspoon sugar
9. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
10. 50 gm peanuts
11. 11 - 12 mint leaves

Recipe:
1. Take a mixer bowl, Add green chili, ginger, garlic, onion, lemon juice, sugar, salt, peanuts, and coriander powder in it. Mix it properly.
2. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves in it and again mix it properly till it become smooth pest.

Tip: You can add curd (dahi) in it.

recipe for mango chutney

Prep time: 10 – 15 mints
Cook time: 5 mints

Mango chutney is very yummy flavor dish. It serves with onion that’s why its test becomes delicious. You can also serve this chutney with roti, vegetables, rice, papad, biryani, farsi puri etc.

Ingredients:
1.     4 kacha mangos finally chopped,
2.     3 (medium size) onions finally chopped,
3.     1 tbps chili powder,
4.     1 tbps coriander powder,
5.     1 tbps sugar,
6.     Salt test wise.
Recipe:
1.     Take a bowl, add chopped kacha mangos and onions and mix properly.
2.     Then, add sugar, salt, chili powder, coriander powder and mix all ingredients properly.
3.     Set this chutney in a bowl for few mints.
Note: you can also add 1 green chili (finally chopped) for very hot and spicy flavor or you can also sprinkle black paper or chat masala.
